Hannah Novick is a Fredericksburg artist with two core beliefs about art:
A work of art should express a message that changes the audience’s world view.
Art with the sole intention of beauty expresses a love for the world, and appreciation for one’s environment through beauty is a strong way to influence world view.
In the spring of 2024, she completed a research art portfolio focused on how the logging industry can decrease environmental impact while minimizing economic damage. A piece from this portfolio won third in the Massaponax art competition.
Her art has also been featured on the Massaponax literary magazine cover, which went on to win the state competition, and currently displays art at Darbytown Art Studio in downtown Fredericksburg.
