Sean Tarallo is an artist from Stafford, VA and a co-owner of Olde Virginia Gourmet & Gifts, where many of his pieces can be seen and purchased. He is entirely self-taught, but admits to having the advantage of artistic familial genes, as he is related to a number of different artisans with skills that range from the visual arts, to music, to woodworking and beyond. Sean works with a number of different mediums... Pen, Pencil, Oil Paints, Acrylics, Watercolors, Pastels, and even dabbles in Pyrography. His favorite mediums, however, are pen & ink and oil paints. A majority of his works, and those that inspire him most, are landscape and nature themed, but he also has pieces featuring architecture, wildlife, abstract works and other categories.Sean also has a passion for art history, with a particular interest in the Impressionism & Post-Impressionism periods.
